Professional, adrenaline-packed races, the latest in top-of-the-line bikes ridden by elite athletes across the globe, a glimpse into premium cycling gear; Tour de Concord 2023, created, founded, and organized by Concord Pacific, brought together cycling enthusiasts for an elevated cycling-centric event.
Spectators viewed a variety of races from professional level athletes to BC’s emerging young cyclists. Concord further supported these youth cyclists through race registration, which benefited the Cycling BC’s athlete development programs.
In the spirit of the Tour de France featured brands, cyclists raced with a wide variety of premium bikes from brands known for excellence, such as Specialized, Pinarello, Cervélo, Wilier, and Cannondale, to name a few.
In addition to the men’s and women’s professional races, the event included a meaningful Concord Charity Race component. Vancouver Mayor, Ken Sim, and community leaders came together to race in the event, raising funds for Vancouver Police Department and St. Paul’s Foundation.

During the event, TREK, who provided Mayor Sim’s racing bike, also displayed the newest category of bikes taking the world by storm; E-bikes. Electric-assisted bikes are revolutionizing the power of cycling as transportation not just in Canada, but around the world.
Providing ease and efficiency for traveling longer distances, many countries in Europe, including Germany, France, Italy, and Spain, are witnessing this breakthrough in sustainable technology gaining market traction year over year.

It’s not just the bikes which were electric; Tour de Concord is ushering in the new wave of pace cars with the Porsche Taycan, taking the 75 years of tradition that follows the phenomenon of Porsche, with an electric driving upgrade.

When you delve into the details, from a multifunctional sport steering wheel to the Advanced Climate Control air conditioning system, it’s clear the striking craftmanship combines the timeless Porsche quality with the future of environmentally conscious driving.
To commemorate the 75th anniversary of Porsche, the celebrations officially kicked off the following day at their Festival of Dreams: Celebrating Porsche 75th Anniversary hosted at our Concord Pacific Presentation Centre.
Aside from a robust VIP guest list, the exclusive event, which preceded our annual Elite Realtor Award Celebrations, brought together car enthusiasts from throughout the region. The day included an indoor race simulator, the opportunity to appreciate both vintage and modern Porsches, entertainment from local bands and musicians, delicious cuisine from around the world, and more.
With the third annual Tour de Concord completed, Concord Pacific is now looking towards the future, assured and proud to be bringing an even more elevated experience for athletes and distinguished guests to enjoy at the Tour de Concord 2024.
